Our journey begins not in a kitchen, but in a field—where grains sway in the breeze and ingredients are born from soil tended with care. Inspired by the beauty and simplicity of what grows naturally or is lovingly nurtured, we believe every creation starts with His provision. We are simply stewards of that bounty, committed to honoring it through the work of our hands.
But our love for baking runs deeper than just ingredients. It’s in our blood, passed down from flour-dusted generations. In Brampton, Ontario, my great-grandparents—Anne Maines Stuart and her husband Robert—opened the doors to The Brampton Bakery, a warm haven of sweet aromas and community joy. Their legacy lives on in every recipe we revive, every tradition we uphold, and every neighbor we serve.
Today, nestled in Hartsville, SC, Field and Fawn operates as a faith-based cottage bakery under South Carolina’s Cottage License. Our name reflects our calling: to bring together the raw gifts of the field and the gentleness of the fawn—natural beauty, nurtured with intention. We exist to intertwine faith, food, and artistry, delighting the senses and nourishing the soul.
Jesus Christ, the true Bread of Life (John 6:35), is at the heart of all we do. He’s the reason this business exists, and He’s the flavor behind our joy. Our passion is to make every bite not just delicious, but meaningful.
